Oma’ s tuna is considered to be the best in all of Japan. The fresh tuna caught by a fisherman using a fishing needle is especially fancy. Although most of the tuna gets sent to Tsukiji market in Tokyo, if you’ re there at just the right time, you can enjoy this exquisite fish at some of the restaurants!

There are ferries and sightseeing boats that connect Shimokita Peninsula and Tsugaru Peninsula. From late April to early July, there is a high chance to meet the dolphins in Mutsu Bay.We suggest driving there, and getting on the cruise ships!
