One of Japan’s most beautiful mountain streams
Designated as a natural monument, it is one of several most beautiful mountain streams in Japan. Some of the mountain streams that flow into Lake Towada have waterfalls, which are called, “瀑布街道/Bakufu Kaido”[WaterFall Road]. Fresh verdant leaves shine vividly in early summer, and crimson foliage blush the scenery in autumn.
