Hirosaki City is central city for Tsugaru region, and Hirosaki Station functions as central station for Tsugaru region as well. Not only for sightseeing in Hirosaki City, it is accessible to other Tsugaru region like Kuroishi and Goshogawara Cities. It is convenient for sightseeing in the city to take the loot 100-yen bus running from the station. It is accessible to Hirosaki Park where is well know for cherry blossoms. Furthermore, from Hirosaki Bus Terminal, located in 3 minutes walks from the station, the nonstop bus* to the World Heritage, Shirakami-Sanchi is operated. (*Out of service in winter.)
