Opened on January 26, 2000 as a part of the Aomori Station Redevelopment Project. AugA is a 9-story building, with an additional underground floor housing a food and grocery market and approximately 50 shops on first to the fourth floors. Public offices are on the fifth and sixth floors, including the Gender-Equality Plaza, and the Aomori City Library is on the sixth to ninth floors. The parking lot has space for 552 cars (open year round).
