After the cherry blossoms come the apple flowers!
The Apple Flower Festival is held at Hirosaki Apple Park.
Many entertaining events are held, including the following: mini steam-locomotive rides; parent-child apple-peeling competitions; a yes/no quiz on apples; trial programs on subjects such as pollination, pressing apple flowers and trying out some of the elevating work platforms; sales of limited-edition boxed lunches, apple doughnuts and tasty foods from the local mountains; and live concerts.
