Itayanagi Town, to become Japan’s leading region for apples, offer experience tour of handmade Ringo-bako. The Ringo-bako is a wooden box used for about 20-kilogram of harvesting apples. On the tour, visitors will look around the factory where those boxes piled high or how the craftsmen made them. Also you can experience to make your own box with size for 1.5-kilogram apples (about 3 apples), with hitting a nail, filing, waxing and stamping.
