Ringo Musume, a dance and vocal unit, originates from voluntary group “Hirosaki Actors School Project” that is established in Hirosaki City, Aomori in July 2000.
Their activity is aimed to deliver information through music and show biz work, to revitalize their local, Aomori, and also to encourage the primary industry of all over the Japan and abroad through entertaining business.
Each member of the group named after variety of apples. Basically, they talk in a Tsugaru dialect to promote Aomori. They perform on TV, radio or event stages, and also at schools and nursing homes. Ringo Musume is a popular Aomori’s local idol group loved by any generation.
