Aomori Airport was renewed in 2019, and the facilities have been fulfilled, and waiting time at the airport has become more comfortable.
1. Enjoy the meal
For visitors who want to experience Japanese food or Aomori’s local dishes right after arriving or before departing, there are restaurants, a food court, and a coffee shop to choose with your demands.
2. Shopping
At the airport terminal, there are several souvenir shops where you can buy Aomori’s traditional crafts such as Tsugaru-Nuri (lacqureware) and Tsugaru Vidro, or sweets used Aomori’s apples, and so on. Also, there is a convenience store to get daily necessities. Shopping at the duty-free shop is available for passengers of international air.
3. Enjoy the views from the observation deck
There is the observation deck on the 3rd floor where you can watch the airplanes taking off and landing.
4. Spending time at the lounge
The airport lounge is free for passengers with a ticket or boarding pass valid for that day plus following credit cards. Otherwise, available to use pay charge.
Fee: adult ¥850*, children ages 6 through 12 ¥420*, children five and under are free.
