Oirase Stream
The 14-kilometer-stream flowing from Towada Lake shows the beauty on each season, and it is worth to stroll in the autumn season.

Towada Lake

Towada Lake is located on the border of Aomori and Akita prefectures and is third depth in Japan, which is mystic with beautiful deep blue. Red and yellow colors of autumn leaves creat beautiful scenery contrasting with blue of the Lake.

Hirosaki Castle Chrysanthemum and Autumn Foliage Festival (Hirosaki Park)


At the Botanical Garden in Hirosaki Park, dolls decollated with chrysanthemum are displayed and the old castle in the park is filled with impressive atmosphere of autumn beauty.

Nakano Momiji Mountain


It is the place known for autumn foliage of 100 maple trees. It is said that those trees were brought from Kyoto and planted in Edo Period. You can enjoy the brilliant colors of autumn leaves in the daytime, and after the sunset, you can enjoy the illuminated trees reflecting falls and stream and creating fantastic atmosphere.

You can see awesome foliage that follows The World Heritage, Shirakami Sanchi along the Iwaki River. Especially at the path of Anmon Falls, you can enjoy the fine view of autumn leaves and falls, which bring you different impression from the verdurous secnery.

Mount Iwaki
At Mt. Iwaki, autumn foliage starts from top of mountain and it comes down to foot. When the first snow of the year falls, you can experience colorfully view such as white in snow, red and yellow of autumn leaves and green of pine trees.
