Yoshino-cho Park is located in downtown Hirosaki. In the park, lavender broom in the park and snow cover all over the park in winter. Also there is “A to Z Memorial Dog”, a memorial statue of dog by Yoshitomo Nara, a contemporary artist who was born in Hirosaki and held exhibition here in 2006. The statue is not too big to touch freely, with height of 3 meters and length of 4.5 meters, comparing with “Aomori Ken” with height of 8.5 meters, another work by Yoshitomo Nara, which is displayed at Aomori Museum of Art.
