A-FACTORY is located just 1-minute walk from Aomori Station. A-FACTORY is a duty-free market-style shopping center selling local products such as sweets, processed goods, fresh vegetables and fruits. The most featured facility in A-FACTORY is the apple cidre (cider) factory which makes cidre and juices using Aomori grown apples.
AOMORI CIDRE
Cidre (Cider) is a European sparkling alcoholic beverage made from the juice of apples, featuring a refreshing taste and delicate bubbles. The cidre at A-FACTORY is made using apples grown in Aomori, the number one producer of apples in Japan. The production process of our cidre can be observed through the glassed windows at the factory.
Tasting is also available with purchase of a tasting card.

1st Floor
Besides the Cidre Factory and a market selling Aomori local products, the first floor has restaurants serving sweets such as tarts and gelato, hamburger steak using Aomori beef, and Japanese style rice bowls using fresh tuna.
2nd Floor
The second floor house an event space and a specialty shop of galette, a French style crusty cake made with buckwheat. The galette goes excellently with the Aomori cidre made at A-FACTORY.
