The Hakkoda Walk is an 8.1 km snow corridor that awakens Hakkoda from its winter sleep. This is a special 3-day event before the opening of National Route 103, the “Hakkoda-Towada Gold Line” that is closed each winter season. See the corridor with its snow walls that stand as high as 9 meters tall.
