WeSPa Tsubakiyama is a resort facility located right across from JR WeSPa Tsubakiyama Station. The guest rooms are all western-style cottages with private onsen baths. Guests can view the magnificent sunset on the Sea of Japan and the fires for luring fish at night. WeSPa Tsubakiyama is a multi-featured facility. It is the home to an open-air bath with movable roof, a products shop, slope cars, and barbeque site. A glass craft shop is open for glass crafting classes and the insect museum has many insects from all over the world. Additionally, there is an observation tower overlooking the Sea of Japan. Children and adults of all ages can find the entertainment of their choice here. The European castle-like restaurant features local Aomori products as well as a special Fukaura tuna steak rice bowl.

The Scenic Open-air Bath with Movable Roof
The “Nabeishi Onsen” is a genuine hot spring bath shaped like a dome with movable roof. On sunny days, the roof is opened and becomes an open-air hot spring. During the day, bathers become enchanted by the view of the grand Sea of Japan and Tsubakiyama cape. As the day goes by, guests can enjoy the sunset on the horizon and the fires for luring fish at night.
*While the roof is opened on sunny days between April and October, the view from the onsen can be enjoyed all year round.
